Description

Dr. Daniel Huffmire is excited to be practicing at Shadowridge Dental Group as a dentist! He is happy to be back in California even though his life experiences have led him far from home. Dr. Huffmire grew up in West Garden Grove, California, and loved being close to the ocean. He attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate studies, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. After several years of working as a chemist, he returned to school and graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, with a Master’s in Medical Sciences and a Doctor of Dental Medicine. Daniel Huffmire, D.D.S., General and Cosmetic Dentist After graduating from dental school, Dr. Huffmire undertook a General Practice Residency at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. There he obtained advanced training in sedation, oral surgery, and emergency medicine while working at the Regional Medical Center and VA clinic with medically compromised patients. Dr. Huffmire practiced in Idaho for several years before returning home to Southern California. Dr. Huffmire enjoys all the different facets of general dentistry and completed advanced training in his passion for biomimetic dentistry, a branch of general dentistry that uses treatments to maintain and save natural tooth structure wherever possible. Dr. Huffmire and his beautiful wife have five children and enjoy spending time outdoors together.
