Description

Dr. James E. Sorge grew up in Cache Valley in northern Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) and completed his Doctor of Medical Dentistry with honors from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, in 1998. Shortly thereafter, he moved with his family to Fallbrook, located in the San Diego North County area. For 27 years, he practiced in the North County of San Diego and South Orange County. Dr. Sorge is a professional dentist who offers general and family dental care services. He has also expanded his expertise by exploring advancements in cosmetic dentistry, implantology (dental implants), orthodontics (braces), TMJ disorders, and dental sleep medicine. He has lectured to various medical and dental organizations. Dr. Sorge has taken part in humanitarian projects from Oregon to California to the islands of the South Pacific. He has received the San Diego Reader’s People Choice ‘Best of the Best’ award and is a leader among his peers, receiving San Diego’s ‘Top Dentist’ award for 17 consecutive years. Dr. Sorge is an active member of several professional bodies, including the American Dental Association®, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Sorge and his wife, Katherine, have four children and three grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, trying new foods, golfing, hiking, and snorkeling.
