A few words about our practice: Jared Houston, DDS, general dentist, is pleased to be able to offer beautiful smiles to his neighbors in Dimmitt and the surrounding communities. Dr. Houston earned his dental degree from the UTHSC San Antonio School of Dentistry after earning his bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University. Prior to entering private practice, he joined the Navy and completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency while serving. He deployed with the Marines of 26th MEU to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East before returning home to Amarillo.

Dr. Houston has engaged in extensive postgraduate education, with specific training in dental implants, endodontics (root canal treatment), ClearCorrectâ„¢ clear aligners, TMJ treatment, and cosmetic dentistry, allowing him to incorporate these treatments into his practice and give you the healthy, beautiful smile you’ve always wanted. His commitment to lifelong education means he is constantly evaluating emerging dental methods and technologies in order to provide his patients with the best results in the least invasive manner with a high emphasis on comfort. This commitment ensures the highest level of care, both today and tomorrow.

Dr. Houston and his wife Jennifer have three daughters, and in his spare time, he enjoys fishing, skiing, and traveling.
